Over 500 playwrights from across the country submitted original one-act plays. We’ve selected six of them!​

For one weekend only, we will stage these one act plays in a black box production. Then one writer will be selected to attend a Writing Residency in Paris, France!​

This year our winning Playwright is Cris Eli Blak! His writing shows a dedication to growth, delicacy, and authenticity and we are excited to support his developing and growing career!

Due to the success of the program one of our patrons was so moved that they asked to send an additional playwright to attend the writing residency in Paris. We couldn't be more excited to also send Akela Munsey to this season's residency!
