A look at love and trust in a very unconventional way. Although Ben and Tracy care about each other, and Ben outwardly shows his love for Tracy, past events in her life make it difficult for her to trust him. She is constantly torn between her need for love and her fear of the pain it causes. In finally trusting Ben enough to open up to him and share her deepest and most secret fears, she's taken an important step towards creating a lasting relationship with him. But whether any trust between men and women is actually possible remains, at the end of the play, an open question.
